"Doberson" Syndrome (Also known as "Doberson's" Disease or just "Doberson's") is a serious condition
plaguing many evangelicals today. Its symptoms may include:
Illogical speech, delusion, tax-sheltered wealth, mind control, bigotry, affinity for large land masses (such as Texas
or Colorado) and enlarged ears among others. Some individuals suffering from "Doberson's" may also have bad hair.
While some individuals with "Doberson's" appear to have contracted the condition at birth, it appears it may
also be transmitted through the use of harmful speech and literature. Those affected are often removed (or remove themselves)
to special communities and schools where others dealing with the syndrome congregate.
It is important to remember when in contact with someone affected by "Doberson" Syndrome that typical appeals
to logic and decency may not be an effective means of communication. Great patience and mental fortitude is typically required.
